I'dont know why but in my case, doesn't work, I have QuantV installed in Legacy version, I replace the file in the designated folder with OpenIV but the dirt trail vanishes like vanilla...

@CRASH213 Strange, I also have quantV and it works for me, so make sure you replaced the correct file in the correct location.

@ALEX62140 Yes, I've replaced the file in MODS folder using OPEN IV, and search for other file with the same name, but there's only one file to replace and only one location to do it, so... idk :_(

@CRASH213 Even if you modify mods\common.rpf, GTA can still load:

update.rpf

update2.rpf

or another QuantV weather pack

Check in OpenIV:

update.rpf\data\levels\gta5\weather\

See if there's also a desert_emitter_ground file.

If so, that's what's overriding your file.
