I see what you're saying. After looking at police3 the push bar is always present and the customization changes the base of the push bar. Any intention on adding the push bar?
Love the script, adds a well polished mechanic to the game.
Bug: If the driver seat of the towed vehicle is occupied (in my case the occupant was dead in the seat) when detaching you cannot enter the vehicle, manually or teleported in by the script, the flatbed then becomes useless since it cannot accelerate away and the bed cannot lifted. Side effect of this is the script no longer works on newly spawned flatbeds.
Possible remedy could be to detach the vehicle from the bed node and allow the flatbed truck to move. The script should end there and assume all is good whether the vehicle is off the bed or not.
Removing the occupants could be a simple fix as well.
@MrKote I see the trailers in the vehicles meta but it doesn't seem to attach when the tow hitch is toggled through vehicle components. I don't know how it works though as far as modding. Just throwing some ideas out there: Can it be optional like it is now? Is it a bone or something like that?

Not many modders on here create vehicles that fully integrate into the game. You're one of the exceptions, keep it up.
Only issue I see with it is the new bed isn't mapped for dirt so it sorta sticks out when the truck is dirty.
Any possibility of adding a working tow hitch in the future? Thanks for your work.
