The original add-on ped
Niko Bellic is back! Fresh from the gloomy streets of Liberty City, He has finally arrived in Los Santos!
--How to Install--
1. Create a mods folder, then create an update folder inside of that.
2. Copy the vanilla update.rpf (GTAV/update/) to your update folder inside of mods (GTAV/Mods/Update/)
3. Drag and drop the update folder from the Niko files into mods/update/
4. Open up OpenIV and enable Edit Mode.
5. Open up the update.rpf in mods/update/ and place dlclist.xml and gameconfig.xml in common/data/ within the RPF.
6. Download Heap Limit Adjuster and Packfile Limit Adjuster (links listed below) and use the .INI files provided with this mod.
7. To spawn Niko, use the "spawn by model name" option in a trainer and input player_niko. Menyoo is currently buggy with this mod. Simple Trainer by Sjaak works best at the moment.
8. Enjoy!

I had to make an account because this mod hasn't been working for me since I tried a month ago. I have made sure to follow the instructions perfectly. I have installed everything given. I even downloaded the other gameconfig because the on given in the mod crashed my game. I get into the game with the new gameconfig but player_niko doesnt appear and using other gameconfigs crash my game. I promise everything is in the right place. I just don't know why the mod itself wont... well work.

@theNGclan Yo NG, random unrelated question. Do you know if it's possible to have add-on peds spawn in vehicles through the vehicle.meta?

@theNGclan I'm curious, does GTA IV do some behind the scene stuff with its clothing? Because I noticed that the pants models that were ported from IV don't seem to fit too well with Niko's default boots, outside of his default tracksuit pants. For instance, his jeans are raised weirdly high compared to the boots. Yet I'm seeing that the models are pretty much unchanged from the IV files, so I'm wondering if that game adjusted the pants morphs on the fly to fit the shoes Niko was wearing.

@Jax765 Not really, it's actually because my mod was built over Trevor for simplicity's sake. There's several issues with that method but at the time of creation that was really no way to create new, fresh character packs with unique skeletons; at least there wasn't at the time anyway. If I can scrape together some free time I'd like to fix some of those issues with this mod.

@NaijaMango Sorta. You can set what peds spawn in traffic via editing popgroups.ymt iirc.

Also, I noticed that you included the console suits (e.g. double breasted jacket). Would you also be able to include the shoes from the console version?
