btw, those rims are actually called Honeycomb Rims- honeycomb rims were exclusive to the trans am- or technically the pontiac division. also, could you maybe release the rims as their own separate mod? it'd go good with another mod i found(if it works)
@baba0rum You should try to do an alt of this mod as a Burt Reynolds tribute- taking the form of the version of the car he drove in the first "Smokey and the Bandit"- the 1977 Trans-Am(except with the plates from the movie, because the factory ones don't do it justice imo)
My only gripe is the lack of the Honeycomb Rims. As a staple of Pontiac's identity in the 70's, the structural strength and visual appeal of the Honeycomb Rims made the 1971 Trans Am and 1971 GTO Grand Prix a big hit(Fun Fact: The rims were then also made available on even lesser Firebirds and Le Mans models). Though the rim design was still in it's infancy, when the 1976 model year rolled around, a new variation of the Honeycomb Rims were finished in a gold tone as part of the Pontiac 50th Anniversary Trans Am package. This model was the first to offer the black paint with gold trimming that would later become the Bandit: Special Edition made famous the following year by Burt Reynolds.
And.. I'm gonna say this right now- the blue paint on the engine is completely wrong. The make of the car is the 2-door Trans Am Special Edition w/403ci L80 8-cylinder engine w/ T-tops; in turn, making the color of the engine a dark metallic blue.
