About:
This mod disables in game reticle and kill X mark and work with sniper scopes.
(You need to use in game setting a simple target. Go to in game menu go to settings/display/weapon target make it to "simple")
How it works:
Mod does not change anything in game. The markers are still shown on your screen I just made them 100 percent transparent.
How to Install:
Download the program OpenIV, open it and locate your GTA V folder > update > update.rpf > x64 > patch > data > cdimages > scaleform generic.rpf > click edit on the top> put the hud reticle.gfx here
if you use the mods folder:
mods > update > update.rpf > x64 > patch > data > cdimages > scaleform generic.rpf > click edit on the top> put the hud reticle.gfx here
Remember to backup the files.

already multiple mods that do this, some even better.
@OrangeCitrus_ If you would stick your hear out of the bad you'd realize that alternatives for this mod either remove Reticle with sniper optics completely or they do not work anymore. You'd think that there would be a 100 mods do the same thing and I would spend 2 hours figuring out how to make it. If you can't do your research right and only come to spell shit on a mod then up yours.

Two different ways to get to the same results in a optimized way. More options is always good, dunno whats the issue and fuss about this.

@KingHenryX Yeah "Disable Red X Hitmarker Without Disabling the Crosshair" mine disables the reticle as well, they are not the same. One only disables the red hit mark and the other mine disable the hit mark and the reticle. Know the difference.
