This mod will add ambient patrolling police around the map. Variables have been tweaked to match real life values for the United States, with little foot patrols unlike other mods of this type.
This mod only adds the ambient police driving around. If you want to be pulled over, I highly suggest using https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/pull-me-over-daimian however, his version of my mod (cops on patrol) has (in my opinion) too many foot patrols so I created this.
The following files are what is modified (in the mods folder)
\common\data\levels\gta5\popcycle.dat
\x64\levels\gta5\popgroups.ymt
INSTALLATION:
Once the file is downloaded, use the openIV package installer to install this mod.
BUGS:
If you are using the advanced persistence mod, you must set in that mods config EnableVehicleStreamer=true or there will not be police cars driving around, which would uh, really defeat the purpose of this mod.

that is nice police on the streets and on foot. Traveling is very good because in America there are also some on the road :)
It has an error, it does not open the file.
@kaduloko There is a new version up now. I had mistakenly uploaded the oiv as a .rar instead of a .zip
I have now tested and fully installed to ensure proper file structure. Thanks for the info!

Hey, do you know how to uninstall it?
@BartusRacer in the rar file, there is a readme.txt that will tell you exactly what files this mod touches. If you go to your mods folder and find those files and simply delete them, the game will go back to using the vanilla files!
@Gambeans has this mod been updated for the 2944 update?
Adds way too many police cars to the city like other mods I've tried. Game goes from barely having patrols to having them at every corner. A 30% increase over the original would be better, this feels like 600% increase
