@Gerhart67 How are your folders set up? done story mode. All I do is add car mods that's it.

@Turrel81 Not sure what you mean by folder set up. Did story mode several years ago. Now play only in Rage and the mod Los Santos RED which needs a gameconfig among other things.

@Gerhart67 I do not do rage or mod los santos. How do you set up your Gta5 main mods folder for mods?

seems like this gameconfig is outdated and crashing the game, it kind of sucks

@Turrel81 The files I copy over from the game to my mods folder are : update folder and contents within, x64 folder and contents within and common.rpf. I just recently made copies of x64a.rpf and x64e.rpf for a map mod and placed them in my mods folder. I don't know why people are having issues but I also don't know what they have installed and what mode they are playing on. Maybe the vanilla story mode has issues but I only play on Rage story mode and not with any of the three main characters. I play using the mp_m_freemode_01 model. I also disable ped alaising so that nothing connects my character to any of the main three. I also have 1.5 times traffic and 1.5 times peds, so more cars on the road and more peds around the area. Tried 2.5 times but damn was it congested lol

@Gerhart67 How did you disable MP ped being connected to Player 0-3 main characters?

@Loaze That is a setting in the mod Los Santos RED, a Rage Plugin Hook mod.

can confirm that this still works on 3337. I have a lot of ASI and script mods, but I have no mods that tamper with game files, except this gameconfig, dlclist, and ped files, so I can't speak for everyone. Check your mods.

@Gerhart67 I think all the RPF files need to be copied to the mods folder. probably where I am going wrong.

@Turrel81 Los Santos RED adds several vehicles when using certain configs such as the Full Expanded Jurisdiction configs, which I use. I also use the full modern traffic configs which I believe adds some online vehicles to the traffic. I personally only have a truck model, tow truck model and two helicopter models added. Too many vehicle mods are waaay over done for the game. No reason for that high of poly counts for most of the models found plus most are repeats and nothing really original, that's just my opinion. What do I know I'm just an old man lol
