Adjusted color to be more bluish as the black looked too reddish.
Added Red No Step warning triangle on the rear fuselage.
Added No.1 decal on wings.
New engine nozzle color.
Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Nine (VX-9), based at NAS China Lake, has a long history of painting their aircraft in a striking gloss black scheme.
Aircraft to wear the livery include the F-4J, F-14A, F-14D, and now finally, the F/A-18F Super Hornet.
F/A-18F BuNo 166673 was spotted recently wearing the livery, marking the return of the infamous livery since July 2004.
During the days of the Phantom and the Tomcat, the tail featured the playboy rabbit emblem which was removed at some point after 1992.
I have included a version with the rabbit for nostalgia's sake xD
