I wasn't really satisfied with the way I left this mod and so I completely remade it. I spent a lot of time working on this so I hope you all appreciate it.
Description:
The Colt Automatic Rifle-15 or CAR-15 is a family of M16 rifle–based firearms marketed by Colt in the 1960s and early 1970s. However, the term "CAR-15" is most commonly associated with the Colt Commando; these select-fire carbines have ultrashort 10.5-inch and 11.5-inch barrels with oversized flash suppressors.
Replaces the Carbine Rifle.
Features:
Fully animated
Working collision data
4K textures (Only for older versions)
2K textures on 3.0
WARNING:
4K textures are extremely GPU intensive and will most likely cause your game to crash if you don't have a powerful graphics card. In this case the more VRAM the better.

Adjusted the attachment nodes so now all attachments are compatible.

Redid textures, added resolution options and added the Aimpoint 2000 scope and QXL3 Flashlight.

Resized model so iron sights line up in first person
Modified the metalness properties to make it a little shinier.
Edited the Aimpoint 2000 scope so it's actually transparent now.
Added an alternate flashlight with options for flashlight positions.
New magazine with coupler added.
Installation:
Just extract the archive and place the files in
mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf

@Frenchi18 Sorry about that. I think it's because the texture compression format was set to A8R8G8B8 instead of DXT5.

@Frenchi18 Sorry I decreased the metalness and that's probably why, plus Arnald renders things much different than the rage engine does.
@Officer Vega Just be patient. It's in the works. I'm going to be uploading a lot of AR variants including the M16A4.

@Quincy123 Make sure you put the files in this exact path mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf
It must be patchday8ng and not any of the older ones. The easiest way to find it is to copy "w_ar_carbinerifle.ydr" and use the search feature in Open IV then right click on the file and click open file location.
