This mod allows for large pedestrian crowds and removes crucial limitations from the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine.
------ Overview -------
The mod provides full customization of the following features of GTA5's Engine:
- Main Heap Size
- Resource Heap Size
- Pool Heap Size
- Ped Memory Budget
- Vehicle Memory Budget
XtremeTool allows you to assign more than 4 GB to each Heap.
In addition, a variety of limitations have been removed from the game which allows for large crowds of peds to spawn.
To test out large crowds, the mod supplies you with a gameconfig.xml and popcycle.dat that populates every area in the game.
The mod was developed and tested for the latest GTA5 Enhanced version on steam (07 Dec 2025).
It is recommended to have at least 8-16 GB of RAM and 4 GB of VRAM installed. If you run into performance issues, try lowering the ped amounts in the supplied popcycle.dat.

Interesting little mod you got here...so this mod could overwrite any max ped spawn limitations found in any gameconfig file, correct?
I'm a bit confused, so what does this mod do solely, without the use of the optional supplied "Ped Crowd Spawn"?
@-Vegas- Well I'll be damned, someone actually managed to remove ped density limitations 🤩🤩 I wish it had supported legacy too, log says Failed to find Heap Pattern. Oh well, nevertheless it's great mod 🥳

@nj5050 Mainly it increases the memory limits that were hardcoded by Rockstargames. The main tool is mainly useful for modders that would (for example) like to increase any pool size found in the gameconfig.xml.
@MissySnowie If it fails to find the heap pattern then the executable does not match (e.g outdated version). I am also not sure whether there is a difference between the steam and non-steam executable. It was tested and developed for the latest steam version. Also, I will take a look at legacy but I can't promise anything yet.
This is literally a game-changer, aside from the fact that I have to change the game I use. Please make a legacy version!
