    @G-Spot187 The main heap parameter could conflict with other heap adjusting mods depending on the order they are loaded but besides that there is no real overlap or replacement of other mods.

    @AR Scorpion It does affect performance but not as extreme as one would think. As every system is different it's hard to give exact numbers. It's best to just try it out.

    @InfiniteQuestion Would you mind sharing these changes in case other players experience the same problem?

    @SER2022 Not planned right now as legacy is mainly played on low end systems and lifting the limits (e.g ped count to 340) would probably not be as desirable here. I maintain these changes only for the Enhanced version for now.

    @trevphlps01 I have published a seperate version for legacy (XtremeTool Legacy) which works with the latest GTA5 version.

    @Iodine131 The 64bit options are disabled for the legacy version due to compatibility issues. It is best to set the main heap to 2000-3000. You will likely never reach those limits anyways unless using an extremely modded game.

    @chris2530 @floydturbo If your game is crashing please let me know whether you use any other modifications (like a modified gameconfig.xml). It is really hard to find the crash reason without some context.

    Alright, the old ped pool limitation of 256 has been lifted with the newest patch. However there is a new limit of 340. This is simply due to the game running out of stack space (Rockstar decided to allocate some heavy arrays on the stack that are dependent on the ped count).

    Unfortunately I'm not sure if that is even fixable without modifying the PE headers of the GTA5 executable file.

    Update 1.2 Changelog:
    Added parameters PED_LIMIT and VEH_LIMIT to XtremeTool.ini.

    PED_LIMIT controls the maximum amount of peds that the game will load and spawn.
    VEH_LIMIT controls the maximum amount of vehicles that the game will load and spawn.

    @Chiheb-Bacha I just managed to spawn 300 peds (but had to patch some very nasty stack overflow issues to get that to work). Right now there is still an occasional crash related to the physics system but I think unlimited ped spawning could soon be possible and stable.

    @xcaps XtremeTool does not modify any other limits than the one stated, so you still would need to change packfile or modkit limits through other ways if your other mods require it.

    @Hydraxonn Yeah that's just a logging mistake. If you see the line, it has been overwritten successfully (otherwise it would print an error).

    I would really appreciate if any of the persons that experience the mid-game crash could try out a lower ped multiplier like 6 (PED_SPAWN_AMBIENT_MULTIPLIER = 6).

    I suspect that the crash might be caused by the game hitting the ped pool limit (256) and then trying to spawn some special scenario peds (e.g bike robbers).

    @Ballsy You should be able to use any other modification without issues. However there is another user that claims that he experienced crashes using a modified gameconfig.xml. So you might want to try out using a vanilla .xml to check whether it is somehow related. It would also be important to know whether your crash is happening during the loading screen or inside the world.

    A legacy port now has been released. It works with the current ScriptHook V on a vanilla version of the latest GTA update.
